Where To Spend New Year’s For 2023

New Year’s Eve is one of the most awaited and celebrated holidays in the world. 2022 is coming to an end and you are probably thinking about which destination to visit in the new year.

Bangkok, Thailand

If you’re looking for an Asian retreat with a dash of adventure, Bangkok is the destination for you. The city is filled with vibrant colors this time of the year. Be sure to join the throng of tourists and locals for the New Year countdown at Sanam Luang Square. Thailand is well known for its exotic street food, so you are sure to find mouthwatering delicacies and unique locally-made drinks.

Las Vegas, Nevada

There’s no party like a Las Vegas party! So, if you’d love to welcome the new year in a grand style, this is the place to do so. Best known for its casinos and extravagant nightlife, there are tons of things to do and places to be for New Year’s Eve. To get the best experience and the most stunning views of the city, get on The Ling’s High Roller observation wheel. It’s the perfect spot to observe the glorious fireworks with that special someone. 

Afterward, head on to one of the popular clubs for an epic night of music, dancing, and celebrity sightings. Big-time stars are always in Las Vegas to headline one event or the other so you can check those out too.

Paris, France

Starting the new year in this romantic city should be at the top of your travel itinerary. Experience a memorable new year with your family in the City of Lights. Take pictures in front of the Eiffel Tower as it glistens with changing colors. Book a cruise along the Seine River and join other tourists as they usher in the new year with exhilarating cruise parties. Iceland

Want to experience illuminating views of the city? Get on top of the Öskjuhlíð Hill. From here, you’ll be able to see the blazing bonfires and exciting fireworks at midnight. Most bars and clubs will open at midnight so you can take the celebrations over there. Check out Dillion Whiskey Bar or Austur Nightclub for some music, dancing, and stylish cocktails.

The Netherlands, Amsterdam

Delicious champagne, bubbly street parties, and brightly lit skies. That’s what to expect when you spend New Year’s in the Netherlands. The midnight countdown is best experienced at Oosterdok or Westerdok. If you’d like to have a better view of the fireworks, we suggest the Nieuwmarkt or Amstel River.

Every New Year, Amsterdam celebrates Amsterdam’s Light Festival. The festival features amazing light sculptures around the city. This year’s edition runs from the 1st of December 2022 to the 22nd of January, 2023. You can buy tickets from their website

Dubai

Dubai has become one of the top destinations that come to mind when you think of international travel. With its intriguing landmarks, lavish hotels and bars, and unbeatable firework displays, it sure is a must-see destination for spending the New Year. The best firework displays are at the Burj Al Arab, the Burj Khalifa, the Palm Islands, and Atlantis the Palm.

You can spend the rest of the night exploring the urban vibe at Soho Garden, complete with dancing at the open-air party and colorful, exotic cocktails. If you’re up for mingling and dancing at one of the biggest beach parties in the world, head over to Zero Gravity. For the best experience, we advise that you stay close to the Dubai Marina as it is the perfect location for enjoying the numerous New Year’s Eve celebrations.
